Opportunity for GCSE/A level Students or just general
I would like to offer a “work experience” opportunity to some of the students at GCSE levels at my accounting practice. I believe this will provide them with experience and exposure to a real work environment.
The program will last for 1 week, from Monday to Friday. The program will cover some of the key areas such as:
1. Bookkeeping Fundamentals: Students will be able to learn the basics of bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions, reconciling ledgers and accounts, and understanding various accounting functions.
2. Excel Skills Development: Students can also receive training and apply it in practice to enhance their proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a critical tool in the accounting profession.
3. Accounting Software Exposure: Students will have the opportunity to work with popular accounting software, such as VT and Quickbooks, to gain familiarity with industry-standard tools.
4. General Office Work Experience: In addition to the technical training, students will have the chance to experience the day-to-day operations of an accounting office, including tasks like filing, file management, data entry, and client communication.
This program is an excellent way for your GCSE students to explore their interest in accounting and finance, while also developing valuable skills that will benefit them in their future academic and professional pursuits.
We are passionate about nurturing the next generation of finance and accounting professionals. Hence I believe that our program will be able to provide your students with valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the field of accounting.
If you are interested in sharing this opportunity with your students, please let me know, and I would be happy to provide more details and discuss the logistics.
I’ve included a link from the website for the latest trainee information.
